HELP for an idiot please!!

all i'm looking to do is convert video files to DVD format using Winavi 7.1 and i pressed the "advanced" button as it turns out by mistake. i forget what everything was defaulted to as for as aspect ratio and stuff is concerned, but i started screwing around with stuff looking for a fullscreen format and now even though i have everything set to auto sometimes and 4:3 the other times, it always leaves a version to be burned with long, thin faces on actors' bodies and faces.

could someone walk me through the process or send me to a link that will?...i've heard some say it has to do with size and bitrate in it's original form before conversion?.........the heighth and width settings seem to particularily mess me up......i can't remember what the default setting were at there either......HELP!!

Call WinAVI support. Or look in the WinAVI folder for a .ini file and delete it.
