I've just begun to capture VHS videos for the purpose of editing and burning onto DVDs.

I'm hoping to be able to take my captured video, crop out the parts I don't want, and then save my final product without having to go through another application to cleanup imperfections.

Based on what I said, it would imply using MMC video soap to do realtime cleaning of my stream. Are there recommended settings that would give me the best results, without first having to run a number of test samples, to see what is the best.

Some people say not to use video soap but I would then assume they are doing post capture cleansing.

    Thanks
