Hi all,
I need help in converting a DVD with stills and clips mixed (it contains
still pictures with background music and a couple of video clips). I've
tried to convert but I have lost synchronization of audio and video.
I would appreciate any help.
Best,
AS.

Please post your methods & software used & where sync goes off... IOW a bit more info.
Usually you're just stripping audio/video, converting each, & putting back together, so only issue would be if you account for any audio delay set in the DVD. If you've got stills as std m2v, shouldn't be a prob., but if the stills use some sort of hold command (play this frame & hold for *x* time, it'll get a bit more interesting. -
Thanks for reply.
I used the tools and technique explained in "How to Guides" section (DVD to VCD). When I play final VCD, I see no still images, it starts with
video clip playing music of other chapter (the one with still image).
I guess I have to extract stills, video, audio first then combine them
one by one. Which tools can help me out with that stuff ?
In this case I need to find out a way to create a VCD with
still pictures and music playing on the background but each photo must
match with a particular audio clip (just like a powerpoint with music).
Thank you one again for any feedback. -
PLEASE try post in correct forum. dvd to vcd is no dvd authoring. moving you.
what guide??? post a link.
