  1. ive got a avi file i want to put on dvd but im having problems.ive tryed dvd santa it lets me load the file but when i press the create dvd button the programme goes off.also ive tryed avi to dvd again it lets me load the file but ive noticed that in the audio stream theres nothing there and when i press go it says add a job first.any 1 got a clue the audio is mpeg layer-3.thanks andy

    If you want to do it fast, try DivxtoDVD (free version). Why pay when you don't have to.

    If you want to do it properly, and learn a lot in the process, try this guide -> http://members.dodo.com.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm

    What is doesn't mention is that you should use virtualdub to save the audio out as an uncompressed wav file to get rid of the VBR MP3 that is giving you grief.
