I have had this set top unit about a year. My darling daughter had finished watching a Muppets DVD and hit the eject button to remove the DVD. The unit's display says 'BLOCKED' .
The dvd is an original, store bought DVD. Trying to help the tray out while pressing the eject button does not help. There is no pin hole eject like there is on PC type DVD/CD drives. Moving the unit into different positions to make sure the dvd is not somehow lodged in there does not work.
Can anyone help, before I have to call Maganavox (again) and wait on hold, to try and speak with someone who, thru no fault of their own, was not born on a continent where english is their native language ??
Can anyone help??
Suggestions?
No flames please.
Thanks for your help.

I am having the same problem. My wife was watching a movie and suddenly, half way through, the movie stopped and the 'BLOCKED' message appeared on the front. Did you manage to solve the problem?
