    Hi folks,

Do you know if is there out any encryption software that has a file encryption algorithm that can encrypt .VOB files for instance, without corrupt them so home player can read them.

    See you later,

Do you mean so that the movie can be played on a standalone but not copied?

If so, NO. There are a couple of tricks that can slow someone down, but nothing that is 100% efficient, (if Hollywood can't do it what chance do have?)
This has been discussed a couple of times before (once quite recently) try a quick search of the forum

    Hi folks,

Yes e404pnf I mean some software designed to encryption because that software that I mentioned in that post does a lot of other kind of stuff but doesn’t do the .VOBs encryption. And videopoo you are PERFECTLY right: everybody talks about tricks but nobody explains them. Please came on and talk about that tricks. Thank you videopoo you are right.

    See you later,

For the degree that css helps, I think Encore can add it. As all you're going to do is make it more difficult, & so hopefully not worth it, what if you encoded video with chapters not in order, then used playlist to sort it out? DVDLab docs I think discuss way to use serial numbers, which might protect ifos a little bit.
