How do i know where to link to it in my post![]()

It's the same thing as uploading pictures except that you wrap it in http://[/url ] tags instead of [img ][/img] tags. Place it anywhere you want in your p...atucksfile.zip blah blah blah.
Then make sure you have browsed and loaded your file below. -

See, i thought i tried that before and it did not work, but i saw that when ever i uploaded it, it looked like it was in the guides section with the thread # in the URL so i was trying to link it that way with the [url][/url ]
I was trying to link it like this, adalogo.zip
Obviously i put the spaces there so it can be seen what i was doing. -
You never need to do that manually as the board will do it for you. The code you mention above works if you want to replace the actual filename with words instead. Like when the filename is noatuck.zip but you wish to display "my guide" in your post and have those words become a link.
