I have a Nikon Coolpix 5600, which is capable of up to 5.1 Megapixels. It can record audio and video as well. I have the cable that allows you to hook the camera up to the TV.
I also have a Creative Video Blaster Digital VCR Capture Card.
Is there a way I can use these together as a webcam for Video Chat with people? Is there software for this?

Generally the camera video cable is for viewing images instead of using the built-in lcd. Capture card should work if you had a camcorder. Best bet if you want a decent web cam is to get just that -- a decent web cam.
Should come with software, or there are several alternatives including some of the messaging prog.
