Reception Issue with 878 card

I have a tuner/capture card with the conexant 878 chipset, and philips tuner, card is here http://www.supergooddeal.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TTOM878A&Click=1

The issue I am having is, when I hook my cable into the coax, the reception is black & white, and fuzzy. If I hook a TV into the same cable, there is no problem. Any ideas on this issue?

THat sort of card's been around it seems like forever. Not normally a prob, so personally I'd suspect a prob with the cable used (try another?), the tuner setup (make sure you selected correct country etc.), or software (use the latest, &/or consider freeware drivers -- think there's one or two projects offering them).

The specs and the appearance of the remote look just like my Pinnacle PCTV Pro card. Great price. I may snatch me one up.

Yes, try the btwincap drivers. And double check your settings. It should not be b/w.
