Rocording Problems With Sony RDR-GX7

Hi,

I have been using the recorder for about two years. The recorder is very particular about the brands of DVD-R media it uses. To this point I have been using FufiFilm and Sony disks with success. Today I opened a new spindle of FujiFilm DVD-R disks and attempted to record. With the new disks the recorder only records for 30 seconds and then I get a "disk is dirty" error message. I tried 3 disks of the spindle and I get the same message each time I try to record. Is it possible to get a whole spindle or is it possible the recorder is going bad?

Solved the problem by switching back to Sony DVD-R media.
