    No big deal for me when it's released. As long as Microsoft continues to release updates on a monthly basis I'm a satisfied customer. It took me almost 6 months to decide whether or not I wanted or needed SP2. I only did so after using SP2 installs on new system builds and relying partially on that customer feedback I made the decision to upgrade.

    I can wait until next year for a service pack. The majority of their development teams are focused on getting Vista out the door.

    There is an install program (not from MS) with all collected MS updates from WinXP-SP2 (mid Aug. 2004) till now (for German version of Windows!):
