I'm trying to do a simple authoring for a presentation in school.
    i´m authoring with DVD-labPro.

The intention is to put a 3min movie playing while collegues wait.Thats why i want it to play in a infinite loop.
At any time i should be able to put the 2nd movie playing, with out using menus or buttons.

    Is this possible?
    Could anyone help me?

    Thanks.

Create a motion menu with an invisible button on it. The menu can cycle as long an needed, then a press of the enter button plays clip 2.

Or just hide the button off screen real small in the overscan.

a hidden button is a possibility, thanks for the help.

But motion menus only allow looping for 1 min. The movie i want to loop has 3 min.

Is there any command that i can give to first movie?
I wish it colud play in loops 'till everybody is in place, only them (with the hidden button) i start the main movie.

Why 1 minute? I use DVD Workshop and routintely have menus that loop for around 3-4 minutes. I even have them auto-play the first title if nothing is selected after 5-10 loops, if I want.

Thank you both for your hep.

I allways thought that DLP had a time limitation in motion menus, but the only limitation here was mine.I usualy use it with 1 min.

You can set the visibility of the button for various states. I use it to put easter eggs on discs from time to time.

IYep, DLP. Create button and link it to an asset. Now select it and look at the properties down the right-hand side. Click on the Link tab and you should see a field called Button Visibility. It is a drop-down list of options. Have a play there. You might also have to change the transparency of the highlights.

If that doesn't work, you can follow the blue budgies advice and stick it in the overscan.

Create your menu and drag your 3 minute video and audio to it. In menu properties on the right, under menu playback, change duration from "a/v" to "inf". This will cause your menu to loop.

Create a button anywhere on the menu and link it to your movie. In menu properties under Button Link, change button visibility to "invisible all".

Now your mini movie will loop until you hit play, as the invisible button will be the only one highlighted and the only one playable.
