I have a video that a co-worker asked me to convert to a dvd so he can use it in some presentations at work. I tried to open it in TMPGEnc, but it said that it wasn't a recognizable format. I'll author it in DVDLab. Tried VDubMpeg2 - no luck. Checked it with AVIcheck and Gspot. Here's what it gave me:

    1920 x 1080i HD mpg Cyberlink Video/SP
    1 audio stream AC3

What do I need to use to convert it so I can author it to DVD?

Thanks for any and all help.

Try opening it with virtualdub-mpeg2. You will have to resize it down to DVD spec resolution, frameserve to an encoder to get the bitrate down, then author it. Assuming you need a DVD at the end of the process.
