    I can't try it, but someone pointed out this tool from elsewhere:

    It only works if you have QuickTime installed, as it seems to tap into QuickTime's API for file conversions.

    Any one want to give it a spin and see how well it works?

    It seems pretty limited in both the formats it supports, and the freedom you have to control the output. I think I'll pass for the moment.
