You need a rca to headphone jack adapter. They're like $5usd or something. Go to any store (even drugstores carry them).

Any electric appliance shop can sell to you adapters.
Most likely the sound card you have is fit with a mini-jack input.
Depending on your VCR you might need something like:
1. a mini-jack to RCA cable
2. an RCA-minijack adapter to fit a SCART-composite cable, usually a cable with SCART on one side, and 3 RCA connetcors the other side, yellow, white, red. Connect the adapter to the white and red and you are done.
Do not forget to set up your windows mixer to record and listen from "AUX", and if your card is not one of those with a single MIC/AUX input, do not connect to the MIC input or you'll get distorted sound.

Make sure to get a stereo adapter, it will be a "Y" connector. Unless you want mono sound.
