pixellation/cause conversion?

Hi Guys,

I am having a few problems with my VCD that i am creating, i can make
vcd's no problem and they playback on my DVD Player, (pioneer) The
problem is with pixcellation, i capture using a Dazzle from camcorder
at 352x288 stereo, i edit or capure using MGI Videowave IV And produce
the vcd with TMPEGnc and burn with Nero, my system is Celeron 600mhz,
256mb ram, i also have a hauppauge tvgo card with i can use for capture
... i have so far tried the pal 25 frames templates but to no avail...
any hints tips would greatfully recieved...
I told my wife that VCD is equal to VHS (she was not impressed)

Hello,

A lot of CODECS cause pixcellation, like DIVX. I don't know what format is used by your card, but with my pinnacle DC10 plus I record in MJPEG format. When I make the movie with the INDEO 4.4 codec I have a picture as smooth as it can get !
