    Hi

    I am using ADS DVDXpress and have installed capwiz but when I open the program it wont recognize the capture device. The error message is: "chpwiz unable to detect USB capture device. Check power light and secure all cables".

    The red power light is on and the power cables are secure. Also the ADS drivers show up in device managers so I think they are loaded.-----Any ideas?

    If this is 1st time (not a prob where worked previously), is the USB port powered adequately? Some hubs, some ports on case will not always work. If this is prob., use port mounted to M/Board or powered hub using wall wart & set to power mode.
