    Hello

I've been trying to use ffmepgx for two weeks or so now. I decided to try it as an alternative to Handbrake for quality reasons. I have researched and tweaked and read the forums, but I've still not had luck...at all.

I seem to get two separate files once I'm done. I get a .audio.mp4 and a .video.mp4. Do I need to then mux them? I am converting from a merged .vob to ipod h264.

The other issue I see is that I seem to be experiencing an extreme version of the "progress goes beyond 100%" problem. Mine stopped at over 2,000% on my last encode. This cannot possibly be typical.

    Your thoughts?

The app should do the muxing without user input. Without more log details it's hard to say why it didn't mux. How did you get the merged VOB? Did MTR/0SEx create it, or what other merging method did you use?

If encoding doesn't take 20 times longer than expected, then it's a minor cosmetic wrinkle, likely related to a specific source file.

The 2000% (or more) problem has happened with every file I've tried. I merged the VOB with D-Vision, but the separate files happen even when using VOBs "as is".
