    Im trying to convert an avi file that is about 200mb to a file that is around 1.5 mb for a website(size restrictions) What do you all suggest i have pinnacle but they are still to large. Its a video file that is about 2 to 3 minutes long

    i use wmv for small files that I want to share with others. i convert with wme.

    VCD mpg is 1 MB/minute - would that do? It has the advantage of being universally playable - no extra codecs needed.

    vcd mpg is ~10mb/minute.
