    Hi,
I have an iso which I would like to convert for DVD Players format. After running a web search, I found that dvdSanta can do the job. Still, dvdSanta accepts input exclusively from a CD/DVD drive. Since my file is residing on my HD, and I don't like the idea of a two-step DVD media burning, one from my HD to a DVD disk, two from this DVD disk in ISO format to DVD format via dvdSanta, I hoped to find a way to set a virtual DVD drive, copy the ISO file to it, input it to dvdSanta, and output it to a DVD media.
I tried Paragon CD-ROM Emulator, but failed either in copying the file to this virtual disk or in finding a way for inputting the file from the virtual disk to dvdSanta.
Can you suggest a way of converting a DVD ISO file to a DVD format to be burned on a DVD media?

iso is a 'disk image' you should be able to directly burn to dvd with practically any dvd-burning software

if it isn't a dvd-video iso then use daemon tools to make virtual drive from the iso, then convert with divxtodvd, dvdsanta, etc.

if a dvd-video iso burn with imgburn.

Can't you just go into a program like Nero and go file->open and then browse to your ISO file and it will arrange it for you and then you can just burn?

You can, but imgburn is a much better burner than Nero

    To Baldrick,
How do I know if my ISO file it is or it isn't a dvd-video iso? All I can see is an iso extension.

(i think) if you open it with imgburn or decrypter it will give a 'non-compliant' error if it is not dvd format. you could always open it with isobuster and have a look.

If it is i the vicinity of DVD size, then it will be a DVD ISO. Whether or not it is a DVD Video ISO is irrelevent until it is burned and you try to play it.

use daemon tools to make virtual drive from the iso.
    or open with isobuster.
    check for a VIDEO_TS folder with vob,ifo,bup files = probably a DVD-VIDEO.
