    here goes. sometimes when backup a dvd, (i use shrink and decrypter) and shrink finishes it's job and decrypter comes up i get a message saying the following:

    DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) failed!

    unable to lock volume for exclusive access

    Reason: Access Denied

    anyone have any idea what this means and how to fix it if possible?

    When DVDDecryptor comes up, is DVDShrink still running?

    Sounds like a conflict of resoource to me - DVDShrink has just finished its job, and DVDDecryptor waits for Shrink to relinquish its control on the newly formed ISO . . .

    Shut down DVDShrink before DVDDecryptor loads and yo should clear that problem up.
