Hello, I'm trying to play a movie from the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, inside the VIDEO_TS folder, but it doesn't work at all -.-
It just says "Stop" after like 1 second.

If I play each VOB file individually, everything goes ok, they're split in 17 mins or so each, but playing the VOB files individually means no subtitles (as far as I know) and the movie isn't in a language I can understand.. -.-
so I really need the subs.

The files I have in the folder are:
    VTS_02_3.VOB
    VTS_02_2.VOB
    VTS_02_1.VOB
    VTS_02_0.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VTS_02_0.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.BUP

I downloaded a tool called IfoEdit, since I read that the current IFO files could be damaged or something.
I followed some guides and none worked, still I can't play the movie, it automatically stops after 1 seconds or so.

Do you have any idea of what could be going on and how can I fix it?

delete all the .ifo and .bup files ..... rename all the vobs to VTS_01_x (x will be the same as it is in the vobs you have .. ie VTS_02_1.VOB will become VTS_01_1.VOB and so on) now open ifoedit and select create new ifo's and load up the first vob (VTS_01_1.vob) and tick to save ifos in 'same as source' ... close ifoedit then reopen it and click open ... select and open the new VIDEO_TS.IFO then click get vts sectors ... click ok (several times) .. close ifoedit ... play the dvd files ... they should now work correctly

    Holy ****, I think I love you.
It works now, almost perfect though.

I can't see the subtitles properly, they are all green.

    Any ideas?

    Nevermind it, I fixed it.

For anyone who might have this problem, this is how I fixed it.

In IfoEdit, open VTS_01_0.IFO from another DVD with working subtitles (like the original IFO from the DVD), to get the correct color table, so then just select VTS_PGCITI from the treeview, then VTS_PGC_1, and select 'Copy colors from this PGC'

Then load the copy IFO, select the same PGC and choose 'Paste colors into this PGC'

    Works perfect now ^^
