Capturing with Ulead

Hello all,

I have a Canon Mini-DV cam. I have it connected to my computer by IEEE. Im using Ulead Video Studio 8 and attempting to capture.

I can fully manipulate the camera using Ulead; be it forwarding, rewinding, or playing the mini-dv tape thats inside the camera. However, when I hit capture, I get an error saying capturing is not possible.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try using WinDV, that may at least tell you if Ulead is the problem.

It's a no working!!! WinDv gives a "cant initialize" error.

Finally got it to work. It was my capture drivers. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked.
