From the very beginning...where do i start?

OK... I have a Gateway Pentium 550MHz and a PowerMac G3 500MHz(blue/white). I have a LaCie CD Burner, a new Sanyo 4 head VCR, and an Intel PC Camera Pro Pack. I have an ATI Mac Edition Video card along with the original ATI Rage card it came with. I have Adaptec Easy CD creator Regular version on the PC and Roxio Toast 5 on the Mac (not Titanium).
Basically, I want to start to learn how to make VCD's and I need to know what else i need to do that. I just started researching this and I am so at the bottom, I don't understand all the lingo going on in the forums. If someone is patient enough, could you email me with some help? I appreciate it greatly and I thank you in advance.

what do you want to do, ripdvd's, capture, convert, the answer to all of these are found in the left colume under how to's, read them, try them, and if you have questions everyone here will be glad to help ya.
