  1. Im trying to embed a picture in my email where it comes up in the middle of the email instead of a attachment. Example is if any major department store send you a ad if you look at it its a .jpeg embeded in the email and the jpeg is actually on their server (just right click on jpeg and click properties) well im trying to do the same thing with gmail and i cant do it. Can anyone help me out with this one????????

    It's done as HTML mail, research in that direction.

  3. i did ie "" ....... but thats all that shows up on the page.... that same sentence.... and no picture

    ps.... i tried to write the code above but it comes up like its trying to bring a picture up.... when i do that in email it wont do it

    Open the image in an image editor (such as windows paint) and copy and paste it into a HTML email. If it's true HTML, it will embed as a picture and not add it as an attachment. I don't think I've ever seen a web-client send true HTML though; it's generally plain text or RTF. I just checked GMail and it looks like it's just RTF or plain text.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    I have been able to do it only by converting to .gif, then it works.
