Does anyone know the difference between constant quality and constant bitrate? To me it sounds like if I use CQ(50%) at 2000kbps or CBR at 1000kbps they should be the same. Does anyone have an explanation for these two?
I've also noticed when I load the SVCD template that the default for bitrate is CQ. Does this have anything to do with differences in MPEG-1 and MPEG-2? If someone does know the differences between the two, what are the advantages of one over the other? Any advice or comments would be appreciated.![]()
