something strange is happening. I'm not sure it's anything to do with ffmpegx but I can't figure it out so, thought I'd check in case someone knows about this.
I was encoding a file to dvd. it failed and the error was that it couldn't locate or open the source file... something like that.
I had about 10G of space on my internal drive (i was encoding to an external).
i tried to encode again and I can't remember if it was before I tried again but my available disk space went down to around 150MB then it gave it back.
After i tried to encode and it failed again, it showed i had no space available on my drive. I restarted but it didn't give back the space. I've totaled all the folders on my drive and it adds up to 50G on a 80G drive. so, whatever is taking up this space seems to be invisible??
i ran disk warrior which didn't help and restarted many times.
I also found something called cache out X which deletes the virtual memory files but that didn't help.
does anyone know what this could be??
