I am running OS 10.4.4 (Tiger) and I cannot get iDVD 5 to burn dual layer to my Pioneer 110D. The option is just not there. What am I missing? I ran Patchburn so that my iApps would recognize the drive (which they do), but iDVD doesn't give me the DL option.

The firmware on my Pioneer 110D is 1.37. I have not "flashed" it with anything (unless Patchburn counts). I do NOT care about getting the DVD-RAM capability, but I DO want to burn dual-layer from iDVD. Any suggestions? Do I need to run that "French patch"? Does anyone have experience using it? And if I run it, do I need to uninstall Patchburn? (If so, how will all the other apps like iTunes recognize the Pioneer 110D?)

I appreciate any help you can give.

I'm using a G4 Digital Audio 1.33 Ghz/1 GB RAM, iDVD 5. I also have Toast 6.0.9 but would prefer to use iDVD for dual-layer burning.
