After trying for days to get editing on the hard drive to work smoothly i called pioneer and spoke to a rep.I had told him the editing was shaky and cut audio from previous frames that i wanted to include in my show.He told me that even in the accurate mode i will never be happy with hard drive editing because its not whats it cracked up to be.He told me if i was a fussy person over nice clean edits, try just recording on dvd-rw discs in vr mode then edit with that.He told me it was was cleaner with more black frames to work with.I had between five and ten frames before i hit the next commercial which was great.Well he was right i recorded a program with lots of commercials and edited each one out clean. They were smooth and you wouldnt even know they were there. So from now on i will record on discs then do my editing using that feature then copy back to the hard drive. Why they even have that editing mode on the hard drive is beyond me,why put something there if it doesnt work very well.
