When encoding a video_ts folder into an avi, the audio does not match the video. For example, when someone talks they're voice lags by about half a second. It's not much but it's noticeable and gets a little irritating. Anyone know how to fix that?

I can't help you. I am truly one of the dumbest people on this forum so no assistance from me. However, from what I see here, if you maybe give more info as to the type of avi file you want, the preset you use, something like that, maybe somebody will have info for you. I don't know. Just trying to help.

I get the same problem since upgrading to ffmpegX 0.0.9u. I've checked back some files converted with version 0.0.9t and earlier and they're fine.
I extract from a DVD using MpegStreamclip (which is in sync) and then encode to Divx using ffmpeg's mencoder option. As mentioned above, the sound and video are out by around half a second or so.
