  1. I usually make cds by downloading either bin/cue files and then burning them using cdrwin or downloading avi files converting them to mpegs and then burning that using nero.

How would I go about ripping the VCD back on to my harddrive. [Note: Have only one CD Drive (my CDRW)]. Would I rip the VCD depending on how I burned it, or the same way for both of the methods above?

And if I rip it the same way tell me how to rip it to an avi file as well as to bin/cue.

  2. If you want to create a CUE/BIN of an existing VCD (or any CD in fact), then just use CDRWin to extract and save a CUE/BIN image to your HDD...

If you want to save an AVI file from your MPEG, you could load up the relevant DAT file from your VCD with VirtualDub and then save an AVI.

    Regards.
