  1. Hi friends,
I have two (2) DivX video files of the same movie which was ripped from a DVD. I have seen the movie in 700 MB DivX format. So, is there any way to convert or combine these 2 files to 1 and make it 700 MB size movie ? Also, I have a different movie which was also ripped but it is a single 1.4 GB file, unlike I stated above having 2, so is there any way for that also to resize the file size to 700 MB size without any loss of video and audio quality ? Thanks in advance.

There are guides in the HOW TO section on how to combine the files. Most often, you will get audio sync issues.

You cannot make a 1.4g file 700mb without losing quality. You can make it smaller, but you will be sacrificing a lot of quality to do so. With the current cost of cdr's (even dvdr's), there really isnt any point in losing so much quality just to make a movie fit on 1 cd.

I really should add that with the drop in DVD/RW drives and media price there is really not much reason to even want to attempt this. Unless the person has specific requirement for a 700MB Divx file, it's really pointless when you consider the dismal quality the movie will have. Even if you say that it's for viewing on a lap top or other portable device, there is no comparison between a real DVD original or backup and a Divx / Xvid convertion. It makes no sense at all.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
