Hi,
can someone tell me an easy and fast way of cutting DV files. I transferred some DV files from my Digital8 camcorder and they exist now on my PC. The files are very big (almost 8GB). I want to split it in two to save it on a DVD (without compression).
When I used VirtualDub and selected a portion of the file, it too a long time and created a file that was 27GB! It seems like it was re-encoding the image.
Any suggestions? Where should I start looking? For simple AVI splitting (keep same encoding) should I try something else?
thanks.
