  1. I ripped with DVDFab Decrypter (there was a read error that DVD Decrypter couldn't get past) and the ripped DVD saved as individual files in a VIDEO_TS folder. How can I get those files to and ISO/IMG to burn with DVD Decrypter? Or, if possible, how do I burn those files to disc with DVDFab Decrypter or Decrypter? The reason I ask this is that it's going to a double layer disc and I want to keep the layer break. And I heard Nero has problems with double layer discs (which is another option I could use).

Folder2iso, or imgtool clasic (the preferred method) will create ISO files for DVD Decrypter to burn

  3. excellent thanks. and one more thing. Should I really be concerned about the fact that DVD Decrypter couldn't get past one part on this DVD because of a read error but on DVDFab Decrypter it got past it (it went reallllly slow at the one point but got past it eventually). I mean, does DVDFab Decrypter register read errors? It would tell me if there was a read error, right?

The read error is most probably the Sony protection. This came after DVD Decrypter ceased being updated, but DVD Fab Decrypter is continually updated to deal with it. Once ripped, DVD Decrypter should be able to burn it without problems. A simple test is to use a good software player, such as powerDVD, to check the file for problems. The Sony protection is, in part, created by deliberately putting corrupt sectors into parts oft he disk that aren't referenced by your player. Doesn't (usually) affect playback, but does make it hard to copy. It is similar to very old floppy disk protection used on the Amiga computer way back when.
