I am trying to look at the info for a .m4v file but both Gspot and Video Inspector do not seem to support this file type.

Is there any other software that I can try or another way to determine this on an .m4v file?

I am basically looking for codec info, bitrates, settings etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I tried YAMB and got some info... but not everything I was looking for. Is there a forumla that I can use to determine the bitrate between the timescale info and # of "samples"? Or something like that?

Or maybe someone else knows a trick?

Here is the info I got through YAMB:

    *************
    * Movie Info *
    Timescale 30000 - Duration 00:02:26.679
    Fragmented File no - 2 track(s)
    File Brand M4V - version 1

    File has no MPEG4 IOD/OD

    Track # 1 Info - TrackID 1 - TimeScale 44100 - Duration 00:02:26.680
Media Info: Language "eng" - Type "soun" - Sub Type "mp4a" - 6317 samples
    MPEG-4 Config: Audio Stream - ObjectTypeIndication 0x40
    MPEG-4 Audio AAC LC - 2 Channel(s) - SampleRate 44100
    Self-synchronized

    Track # 2 Info - TrackID 2 - TimeScale 30000 - Duration 00:02:26.679
Media Info: Language "eng" - Type "vide" - Sub Type "avc1" - 4396 samples
    MPEG-4 Config: Visual Stream - ObjectTypeIndication 0x21
    AVC/H264 Video - Visual Size 320 x 207 - Profile Baseline @ Level 1.3
    Synchronized on stream 1
    *****************

    Thanks again for any help!

Hmmm... I think that's all you're going to get. I opened the file in VLC and I got even less.
