I went and got the JVC, pretty good piece. Eliminated all the jitter and tracking issues i was having with with the lite on. I hate it doesnt have 3 hour mode or FR mode but hey what can you do.

Why not get the JVC DR-M100 which does have FR mode (and -RAM capability too)?

  7. JVC DVR-70? Is that an older model? It's not listed on JVC website. The other day I went to Circuit City here in Texas to look at the DR-M100. They were out, and it looks like I can only find it online. Same with Pioneer recorders. Best Buy and Circuit City doesn't even have Pioneer listed on their website! I don't understand why they don't sell these units in-store. Too expensive and not enough profit? Guess I'll have to make a trip to Fry's.

The 4 hour mode on this product is just simply amasing. Fantastic machine. I think I found my new best friend.
