Hi Recently I have been having terrible trouble converting any movies to DVD that use the audio codec 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3, however it says that i have the codec installed (it says its called fraunhofer lls mpeg layer-3 codec (advanced). When I tried to render the movie in Gspot it failed to show up anything in the audio box. I was also unable to convert the movie withh DVD santa as it could not find the audio stream.

To combat this I made a post on the audio Forum stating this problem, I was advised to download virtualdubmod and save out the audio as a WAV with full processing Then put that into ffmpegGUI and convert to AC3, then to select the ac3 audio as the new sound for the movie and save the movie to the hard-drive.
Now for some reason when I converted the newly saved movie with dvdsanta the dvd played with a red picture and with no sound. I also converted with divxtodvd and had the same result.

I am really puzzled and dont know what is causing this any, response would be much appreciated.
