do htey make dual layer dvd recorders? i been looking for wile ..anyone know what company makes htem for stand alone so i can put vhs to dvd .. let me know thanks

I have a Pioneer DVR-633h-s that does DL, but I haven't tried it yet.

Look at the back of the box of a commercial dvd, they often state that it may pause switching layers....
btw, there is a dvd recorder forum where your topic has been asked before if you want to look at it. -
Looks like a nice player/recorder ... only 2 faults ... it don't play ntsc disks and no DTS output (only DD 5.1)
