Looking at your profile and your post here I don't see which OS you are using. Is it linux? BeOS? Mac OSx? Win95? Win3.1? WinXP? Win2K? Other?? There are many different options and unfortunately any response without this information being provided may not help you.

Uh, ctrl-alt-delete to Task Manager? Windows (32-bit). 3.1, BeOS, Mac, linux don't have it. He was pretty distinct.
Anyway...
To start (just) Task Manager
Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
or
Right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
I forgot the exact settings to get straight from ctrl-alt-del, but I'll post if I find them. -
You are on a domain, aren't you ?
If you are, policies will probably stop you changing anything anyway, but personally, I wouldn't screw with it. Just create a new hotkey for it and live with it.
If not, try this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308226&sd=techRead my blog here.
