  1. i have a audio dvd which i can't playback and therefor i like to convert this dvd to a video. does anyone know if this is possible and if so how this has to be done?

    An AUDIO DVD could have the audio ripped/stripped/hijacked
    and then burnt to AUDIO CDs. just a suggestion....

    Newer DVD-Audio discs have a VIDEO_TS folder that contains a Dolby Digital mix of the album. The video component is often a slidesow of the song titles. You can rip this kind of DVD just like any DVD-Video then demux the video and the audio.

    Authoring this as an audio CD is a bit complex. Its much simpler to do on a PC. However, you take that ac3 file of the audio and convert it to PCM/Aiff audio. Take that audio and import it into Bias Peak and add track markers. Export that to a Roxio Jam image, then export that to a Toast Audio CD image and burn. Thats all for Toast 6. I think with Toast 7 you skip the Jam image part.
