I use DVD X Copy to burn DVD's. I have the lastest burner, but I have x4 DVD's. I can't control the speed of burning with DVD X Copy. To copy a DVD, it takes about 10 minutes. I know that the drive is burning faster than the actual DVD disk speed. Does this mean there will be a decrease in quality on the disc and movie? I do notice that the copies I make aren't exact, and that some are better than others. Should I buy x16? Will the video be better?

Also, how are you and what type of dvds are you making?
    1. are you backing up your original dvds with menus
    2. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''' without menus
    3. creating vhs to dvd

For starters, quit using DVDXCOPY, which is outdated software that was always full of bugs and never worked right.

There is free software that works MUCH BETTER, like DVD Shrink, combined with either DVD Decrypter or Nero for burning the disc.
