    I've had this burner for around a year, hasn't really given me any trouble. And i never did anything to it (updating). Would I need to update it? If so how would I update it? And how can i check if it needs to be. I did a firmware update on a server at work, but forgot how...Thanks!

    p.s.
    Is my burner CRAP? lol

    If the burner is doing everything you need, no real reason for updating the firmware. The only upgrade I've seen for it is a region free upgrade.

    I've used that burner before and never had any problems with it, though it is one of the cheaper burners out there.
