Anyone know where to get the MP4S codec, so I can open these asf files I have in vdub 1.3c?

I've sort of found a work around.

I played the asf file in media player, and with total recorder, I recorded the audio.

With TMPG, I took the asf file, and converted it to m1v (video only mpg, no audio)

then in vdub, I opened up the m1v and then opened up the wav file I made with total recorder, and got them in to vdub.

    Hope it works for you!

  5. There is a much easier way and this is by converting it to an avi (this does not need recompression and takes just a few minutes)
There are several tools that can do this the one im familiar with is asftools
I don't know if you can download it here but u can get it at http://www.divx-digest.com in the downloads section

I have asftools .. When I convert the asf to avi with it (trying both of the framerate options) it cannot be played in media player. Gives me an unknown error.

    Maybe I used it wrong.
