Could anyone possibly help with suggestions on how to handle this? I've got some pretty rough footage I'm trying to work with here. Tripod on a camera was set up poorly at my brother's wedding. (And no, I didn't set it up.)
As a result, much of the important footage was shot at an angle, making the footage look lousy. I fixed this by resizing, rotating and then cropping with Virtual Dub filters and, for the most part, am not unhappy with results, considering what I've had to work with. The one major complaint I do have, however, is that one of the filters (rotational, I believe) is causing nasty image distortion/rippling effect during the few times when the camera is turning or moving. Cutting is, of course, always an option - but I'd prefer to keep everything I have, if possible.
Also noteworthy (at least possibly) is the fact that the effect is not observed when viewing the filtered clips with Virtual Dub itself. All other players display it *big time*, though, and it is plenty nasty.
This one here might be a tall order, but does anyone have a trick up their sleeve for this?

Update:
Tried the whole sh*t again and it looks as though the Panasonic DV codec is the culprit. If I use the rotational filter and save the file as uncompressed, there is no issue.
Hope this will be of use to someone else...
