  1. In Sony DVD Architect 3.0, how can I get the menu backround music (or video) to play continuously while flipping through the menu pages? Per default the background music (or video) starts from the beginning each time you jump to the next menu page.

  3. You can't. It is a problem of the DVD specs. No authoring software can do it. There is only a quite complicated workaround with multiangle, but only for a few menus.
According to some unofficial docu, it will be possible with the new standards (blue-ray/HD-DVD)

AFAIK, you can only associate one audio with one menu m2v, so soon as you change menu pages, audio starts over with new sound track, assuming you supply one. Could however minimize the transition by first playing clip with some sort cresendo & fade (as just before commercial on broadcast) that leads to selected menu page.

  5. That is too bad! I saw it on retail DVDs, so I thought it should be possible. Hearing only the first 3-4 seconds of a background track over and over again while flipping through menu pages gets quite annoying.
