Could anybody let me know how to capture thru S-Video with ATI MMC9.10 using my Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro?

I have managed to tune the s/w to the TV stations, however, my problem is that I cannot find out how to set up an s-video capture.

    Thanks

Hmmmm... wasn't aware you could use those with mmc, & while I've heard of v 910, not available for download at least so perhaps have a bad copy.

hey...if you're wanting to capture tv shows you should really give gb-pvr a shot. If you are capturing from camcorder or VHS you can use virtualdub and cap to raw or huffyuv avi then edit and encode to mpeg.

In RF mode, Use Guide Plus to pick shows to record. Then go to check mark (SETUP) on the "recorder panel" and modify for S-video input. You must do this for each show.

From what little I know, & FWIW...

ATI is shipping a newer version with it's top-o-the-line aiw cards -- you can read about it in reviews of these cards. It *may* include different encoding engines from earlier versions, *may* have some cyberlink in it, definitely is not glitch free. Copies are available that have been *privately* uploaded.

Could be ati hasn't perfected it yet, could be only designed to work with new aiw cards, could be they bundle it to take advantage of dvb-t? But then could be a lot of things, and as posted, probably equal or better stuff out there already. :P
