    there is one thing I want to ask about..
    is there any program that can extract the audio from a dvd channel by channel(not all the 6 channels together) and convert it to .wav or .mp3 or any thing else...

    DVD Audio Extractor can, it's not free but it work's great for a lot of diff. things.

    I have used it to make cd's of concert dvd's and for splitting movie audio channels for diff. projects & reasons.



    Lets you save as 6 indavidual tracks & a few diff. formats as shown below.

    demux ac3 (or dts), use besweet or similar to get 6 mono wav files.

    cilers AC3 tool extracts the files to .wav but i don't know if it does it one at a time..it's a quick dos-based app so it doesn't take much time regardless. It's free so that's why I'm just offering it as a suggestion.

    I used it to extract an ac3 file and retrieve the mono .wav's from a 5hr+ video and it didn't take very long to do.
