  1. Im a noob to all this printing and burning stuff. I have over 200 backed up movies but Im thinking about getting the Epson DVD printer and throw the Sharpie away. What DVD-Rs should I be buying? I have had problems before but that was b/c of DVDXCOPY (or at lest i thought). I usualy just buy DVD-Rs when they go on sale at Staples or w/e. The Topics I have been reading have been talking about certain types of DVDRs ( the coding?) doesnt even have to do with name brand? Also what DVD printer should I get (inexpensive). Does spraying the DVDs w/ a gloss coat like in some of the other topics damage DVD players at all? Such as the players that suck the disc in instead of a tray? Sorry if i sound like an idiot

  4. Epson Stylus Photo R200 - 90 bucks at Staples.

Verbatim inkjet printables. Smokin' deal at Sam's Club if you have access, 100pks of 16x for 41 bucks.
If not, Taiyo Yuden from Rima.

I have yet to spray the DVDs w/ a gloss coat. Just don't get them wet

  6. Yes, those TY's are good. Costco has TDK inkjet printables (hub?don't recall) = good, just not as good. Hub printable means you can print all the way down to that little hole in the middle. Epson can do that, you just need to tell it how much printing surface your disc has. See this thread for details - https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=253367
