HI there.. I tryed to convert my avi in to a MPEG2 useing TMPGEnc XPress. My avi file have 3 parts, each about 47 min long. They have tmd codes. Well when TMPGEnc XPress starts to its job it tells that it is going to take 7 hours for just one part. Thats way to long. Is there anyway that this can be fixed so that it can convert alot faster?
Computer Info: Windows xp, pentium 3.

That almost sounds correct for a pentium 3. Unless you've had better results before, and are now going slow, I don't think there will be that much you can do except to upgrade your system.

Can't compare unless files are identical. Besides, the initial estimates are often wrong. Encoding are overnight jobs. Set batch mode and forget it.
