I decided recently to backup a few seasons of Sopranos i've had for awhile. I had no trouble with season 1 but on the other 2 seasons i have 3 and 4 i'm getting errors with disk 2 from each season. I've tried dvd shrink and decrypter and also tried AnyDVD and Dvdfab after reading up in the forums. I get a "cyclic redundancy check" error with shrink and other failed to read errors with the others. I've kept the disks in pretty good shape very very small scratches if any, actually my S1 disks have more scratches than the disks that wont go. I've done several backups before and did season1 with no problem plus every disk from 3 and 4 except for the stubborn disk 2's. Any suggestions would be appreciated as this is driving me nuts lol.

i can suggest two things:
1. use DVDdecrypter and backup in FILE mode not ISO or
2. use Alcohol 120% and load "General Protected CD" profile to skip read errors.
good luck -
Even though the disc may look clean, give it a wipe with a lint free or soft cloth anyway, there may be just enough grease/dirt to give read errors
If you have a DVD-ROM as well as a DVD burner in your system, try ripping it again but using the DVD burner as the reader. It will be slower, but sometimes I have had the odd disc that has a couple of problems but can rip it using my DVD burner instead
